Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team in Portland. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting licensed physical therapists while ensuring exceptional patient care and maintaining an efficient therapy environment. Assist physical therapists during treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises Safely transport and transfer patients to and from treatment areas Prepare, sanitize, and maintain treatment areas and equipment Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records Monitor and maintain therapy supply inventory Perform administrative tasks including answering phones and managing documentation Support therapists in patient education and exercise demonstration Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care delivery Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Current CPR and First Aid certifications Proficiency in patient transfer techniques and safety protocols Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology Experience with electronic health records systems preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care Additional Information Salary information: $17.00 an hour 401k with matching Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinical mentorship Employee discount plans Full suite of benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
